The job was to fell a compartment of Larch trees at Dovestones Reservoir, Saddleworth. they were located next to a 33kv power line and the client, United Utilities, needed them to be felled to avoid power outages.

The felling wedge featured in the video was the first to be used in the UK and was purchased specifically for the job to ensure a speedy completion, as we had a very short time window in which to complete the works.
